Mission

Liam Murray/Olson, passed away at just 26 days old as a result of a congenital heart defect. The family knew they wanted to start a charity that directly benefits, supports and enriches the lives of children who live with a congenital heart defect. Heart kids undergo countless open heart surgeries, some have received heart transplants, and many others are still are on the transplant waitlist. These are the children who live the life that Liam never had the opportunity to live. Since its inception LoveIAM has been involved with sending local Arizona children with congenital heart defects to heart camp for a little escape from their disease. While at camp heart kids require extensive palliative care which is expensive. Most heart kids' families are strapped with ongoing medical expenses and just cannot afford to send their child to camp. Many heart kids, if well enough, come back as young adults and become camp counselors because of their experiences.
