Mission
Collaborating with our partner communities and adjacent land owners, LoVa will advance the creation of a non-motorized trail for recreation and transportation to connect communities to the 47-mile trail between Glenwood Springs and Garfield County's western border along Interstate 70.

Meet Me In The Middle Project - Will build 700 linear feet of trail west from the existing LoVa Trail west toward South Canyon, entirely on CDOT Right of Way. Worked with the City of Glenwood Springs on the $1.42 million project, funded in part by a $700,000 grant from the Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District (GCFMLD). Organized and attended multiple stakeholder meetings and provided regular project progress reports to partner organizations (Town of New Castle, City of Glenwood Springs, Roaring Fork Transportation Authority and Garfield County). Outcome- the project is under construction and slated for completion in summer 2023.
