The purpose of the lowville food pantry inc is to meet the emergency food needs of individuals and families having a food hardship and to aid during natural and man-made emergencies. The pantry provides food, household and personal care items, and baby necessities to all who knock on the door with a need regardless of age, sex, race, creed, color, political, religious or sexual prefence in the most understanding and sympathetic manner, recognizing the dignity and equality in each. The christmas sharing and santa for seniors program provides holiday assistance consisting of food, gifts, and clothing. The lowville food pantry provides cooperative food buying services through the food bank of cny of the food sense program.
