To foster fraternal relations among active, retired and former officers of the United States uniformed services, support ROTC/JROTC programs, provide financial support to needy veterans, provide scholarhsips to qualified students, and other religious, charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes.

Charitable Grants to Veterans: Funds provided by Military Officers Association of America Foundation, individual members of the organization and the Arizona community. These funds were then provided to the single-member subsidiary of the organization, Luke Chapter MOAA Community Fund, Inc., were granted to financially needy veterans and active-duty military personnel and their families in communities in Arizona. Grants were made for essential household expenses, such as food, rent, utilities, car repairs and other household necessities. Active-duty military members and their families benefited from food donations in-kind and commissary gift cards. Total benefited persons were approximately 400, including dependents.
Communications and Special Events: The NewsGram is the newsletter of the organization. It is published eight out of twelve months to keep members informed of events and opportunities of the organization, including dinner and program events and speakers to foster comaradarie among all the United States uniformed services, Presidents Remarks, news about future program events, college scholarship grants, veterans household grants, programs of the Surviving Spouse members of the organization, pastoral care from the Chapters Chaplain, etc. Copies of the NewsGram are distributed electronically and via USPS mail for each issue. In addition, the organization provided closed caption text of presentations and speakers remarks during the lectures for hearing impaired members and guests. In all, approx 325 persons benefited from each of the eight issues of the NewsGram, with a total of approx 2,600 persons benefited from the eight editions published during the fiscal year.
