Programs

The Lutcher Theater presents a daytime performing arts series, Lutcher Incredible Kids Events, for area students and the public. National and international performing arts companies often conduct pre-show audience interaction opportunities and post-show discussions, with correlating study guides made available for teachers on the Lutcher Theater website. Lutcher Incredible Kids Events offer a "page-to-stage" experience for students and meet Texas and Louisiana state learning criteria, making them ideal for field trips. In 2024, the Lutcher Theater presented Giraffes Can't Dance, The Science of Magic, Hamlet, and A Very Electric Christmas.
