Ministry coaching & training:youth minister coaching provided any student minister the opportunity to work with one of the m28 staff on building and growing their own faith or assessing and improving aspects of their youth ministry. Twenty-three youth ministers benefited from this coaching and were able to develop new youth programs, wrestle with difficult scenarios at their churches, and gain a new perspective on their personal spiritual lives.the youth minister training & renewal program in tennessee provided a retreat setting for 6 youth ministers who came together to gain new skills in youth ministry while renewing their own personal daily walk with the lord. They left the experience with 6 youth ministry lessons of which they were trained in, as well as practical tools for organizing the administrative side of their youth ministry. They also participated in workshops that provided creative programming for their sunday and weekly youth programs as well as special events and retreats. A large piece of the retreat schedule was worship and studying god's word in a new and fresh way. When they evaluated the effectiveness of the renewal program, the majority of the participants valued their time with the lord and studying his word the most.online prayer training was provided for all participants serving in the m28 ministries inc prayer ministry. The goal of this ministry is to train people in prayer for the purpose of serving on an m28 prayer team. Then the hope is that they will take the mission of using the training and experience to serve in prayer with their families, local school, churches, bible studies, etc.
Winter retreat:one hundred forty students and adults came together for winter retreat at deer run camp in tennessee where the theme of prayer surrounded every aspect of the retreat. They were able to learn in scripture the power of prayer through studying what god's word says about prayer. They were also able to engage in different types of prayer models in the individual discipleship groups. These groups were led by 10 college students who came to serve at the retreat. These college students were able to benefit from the month of online training as they prepared to lead these youth at the retreat. They were challenged with living a life filled with worship, deep teaching, personal time with the lord, and an increase of their prayer life.
The media team of 6 people served year-round capturing images through photos and videos of the ministry happenings to share with others. These people were shepherded in applying their media and digital skills to ministry. They were able to use their art to glorify god behind the lens so that others could catch a glimpse of what the lord was doing in the hearts and lives of the event and retreat participants.
