Mission
In collaboration with philanthropy, fundraising and service, madelia health foundation exists to support continual improvement of healthcare for the patients and communities we serve. Madelia health foundation has two major fundraisers which support various projects, equipment and initiatives. One, the fall gala, (held every other year) and the other, the golf outing held each year in early june. Although the foundation has added several other giving opportunities and community events in recent years, these signature events are key to providing financial support for local healthcare.

Additionally, the foundation remains committed to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals. In 2024, the scholarship program received 16 applications and awarded $6,000 in funding to support seven students' healthcare education. Each of the foundation's four annual scholarships is renewable for up to four years, ensuring sustained educational support for aspiring medical professionals.
"ask for anything" grants provided funding for homecare backpacks and an ekg machine for the st. James clinic.
