Mission
The madison education foundation was formed to (i) enchance and expand educational enrichment opportunities for all students in the madison public school district and (ii) support long range flexibility for district schools by encouraging community-wide participation and philantropy for educational initiatives. The foundations's mission is to contribute to educational innovation by funding ideas proposed by faculty and staff that are designed to provide students with knoledge and skills.
Programs

Elementary schools - sponsored various programs, tools and equipment to enhance curriculum of various subjects, such as author visits, book tastings, one school one book program and book subscriptions for literature; tool kits, spinners, imagination station for students to help with fine visual motor skills and sensory processing skills; physical educaton & fitness equipment and games geared to enhance physical education curriculum; and special education reinforcment tools to motivate students and reward positive behavior.
District wide school grant - books for english language learners to write, edit, draft and publish bilingual books and programs such as madison reads grants.
Junior school - sponsored various programs to enhance learning on science, arts, literature, math, history subjects, such as inviting meteorologist for a science assemby, math storybooks, trips to museums, astronomy domes, memoir workshops, cemetery guided tour and cooking field trips.
