To work with the rotary club of madison to support its charitable activities, serve as a responsible steward of its resources, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Grants - community grants including excellence in education, innovation, and the goodman grants are awarded annually to other madison community non-profit organizations. The community and other grants are generally paid out with the award. In 2024, the foundation paid all grants awarded before the end fiscal year.
Youth awards and programs - through its youth awards, the foundation recognizes dane county high school students in multiple achievement categories. Each student receives a certificate and a monetary award from the foundation.
