Main street metter (msm) is an organization to promote, market, educate and advocate for downtown area and tourism in the city of metter and businesses. The organization operates destination marketing to stimulate the downtown economic development in the city of metter by encouraging cooperation and building leadership in the business community. The organization does not profit from any of its activities and no member or members profit from the actions of the organization. The collective membership allows for the organization to function for various purposes. 1. Educate: experts in the travel and small business industries are invited to attend and present to the organization to provide continuing education and professional development.2. Advocate: there is constant change in tourism and the small business sectors. The organization will keep the elected local and state official abreast of needs and concerns.
