Mission
To protect and expand the rights and benefits of maine's retired employees: teachers, state, county, and municipal government employees, and to support a fiscally sound retirement system.

Organizes and conducts annual and regional meetings throughout the state for members to discuss pensions, benefits and insurance issues, and provide members information on the various services available to them.

Markets group dental and vision insurance programs for mar members and theirdependents which provides insurance coverage for a wide array of dental services.
