Mission

Maitripa College is a nonprofit corporation founded to provide education and training leading to a graduate degree in Buddhist Studies. Its long-term vision is to establish a premier Buddhist University, to build a center for original research around a collection of Buddhist scholarly works, and to become a hub for individuals seeking to develop their full potential of infinite wisdom and compassion. The College also sponsors events to celebrate and reinforce Buddhist teachings for the general public.
