Programs
1 program
Fluency for Teens: Teaching online and live classes to high school age children. The focus is to teach financial literacy to high school aged teens that are not receiving this education in school. They are taught how to save money, create a budget, basic concepts of credit, how to balance income versus expenses and an introduction to how various investment vehicles work, for example the stock market and real estate. The goal is to challenge teens to embrace saving and investing as opposed to spending and getting in debt. The program is meant to give kids a healthy start to their adult lives by giving them a strong financial education along with the perspective of what can be accomplished if they delay instant gratification for longer-term financial gains. The hope is that some will even begin investing in their youth.
