To provide fundraising, purchasing, data processing, insurance, equipment, management, fiscal, administrative, planning, policy-making, strategic, human resource, benefit-planning, communication and investment services to and otherwise to support the functions of map academy charter school (the school). To engage in activities and perform functions that the school would otherwise have to perform. To acquire, develop, own or lease, and maintain the site at which the school is located. To otherwise benefit, through the provision of financial support and services, the school. And to improve public education in the commonwealth of massachusetts and ensure all children - including those groups of children that historically have not successfully completed high school level education - by removing barriers that inhibit the educational development of children that come from low-income families, have experienced traumatic events, or are consistently subjected to adverse conditions.
