To inspire youth, regardless of race, color, or creed to participate in a vigorous and entertaining activity. To bring youth closer together through the means of a common interest in competitive teamwork, fair play, and fellowship. To acquaint cheerleaders with the fundamentals of organized cheering and danced routines. To teach players the fundamentals of the game while employing the element of safety and intelligent supervision. To teach sportsmanship, in defeat as well as vicotry; honesty of oneself as well as teammates and coaches; and love of the game with the ability to take a few knocks and bumps. To keep the welfare of our youth first, foremost, and entirely free of adult lust for glory.
