The government affairs team plays both defense and offense on our issues in a bold and bipartisan manner. We are expanding march for life's influence as a leading pro-life voice in washington, d.c., and our experts educate leaders in congress, the administration, by utilizing face-to-face meetings, expert testimony, presentations, briefing, and email alerts. The march for life pursues an active program of public education and awareness. In tangible ways, we are arming policy makers and the american citizenry with the power which knowledge gives. One example is we regularily hold briefings titled "capitol hill 101," which help to educate visitors to the nations capitol on how to interact with elected officials and their offices. We have started to expand the program to the states as well.

Expenses: $541K

Communication and outreach advocacy: the march for life is working with local partners to offer state capital march for life events across the country. By marching in our states, we show our local leaders that we the people want protective, life-affirming laws for both the unborn and their mothers.
