MCIL was formed to establish, maintain and operate non-profit community service centers to improve the lives of disabled individuals.

Housing Preservation:Provided a range of support to individuals who are precariously housed and at risk of losing their housing through housing referral and navigation, home modifications, assistive technology, landlord & tenant facilitation, and nursing home transition assistance & service coordination. Additionally, during COVID-19 Assembled and delivered PPE to low-income housing facilities for distribution to the residents. In preparation for the Public Safety Power Shut offs, deployed high voltage batteries to clients to power lifesaving medical devices.

DDARC POWERED & PREPARED:Provided a range of services & supports to individuals who are at risk during public safety power shut offs and other wind events where the power may be shut off. services included the creation of an emergency preparedness instruction and workbook, guidance on how to prepare an emergency supplies kit, education and application assistance for the medical baseline program and outreach to community partners.
