To identify areas of improvement in downtown marion and work with the local government, businesses and residents to make downtown marion an attractive place to live, work and shop. By enhancing the downtown's appearance, creating an atmosphere where the residents feel safe, the preservation and public education of the distr ict's historical characteristics, providing assistance to businesses and the ongoing effort to attracting a variety of new businesses.
