Maryland Agricultural Education

Supporting agriculture in education at the secondary and postsecondary levels has helped fill a leadership and resource void within the maryland agriculture community. Three staff members work exclusively in this area of education and have helped grow programs frommiddle school to the university level. This includes two staff members who support the operations of ffa in maryland.

Other program activities include sponsoring various seminar/workshops, providing educators and others in the agricultural community an opportunity to better understand the agriculture industry and thereby promoting agriculture to children, adults, and businesses.
