Programs
3 programs
Over its 130+ year history, the massillon football program has played in multiple venues, culminating in the construction of paul brown tiger stadium in 1939. The stadium, originally funded in part by the works project administration, has undergone several upgrades to accommodate the growing fan base and maintain a high-quality game-day experience. The booster club helps offset expenses related to stadium maintenance, game operations, and enhancements that preserve the historic and competitive spirit of massillon football.
The booster club offers a range of membership levels, each designed to engage alumni, families, and community supporters in meaningful ways. Members participate in weekly meetings during the football season, attend game day mixers, and receive recognition in official programs. The club also distributes hand-painted obie tiger lapel pins, continuing a tradition that began in 1952. Through these activities, members contribute leadership, volunteer support, and a shared commitment to the success of the football program.
The booster club also provides support to the paul brown museum, located inside the massillon museum, as well as other community organizations that align with its mission to promote education, athletic achievement, and civic pride. These efforts include contributions to downtown monuments, such as public statues and historical tributes, which help preserve local heritage and foster meaningful connections between students, families, and the broader massillon community.
