The werc 2024 annual conference, was a premier event for professionals in the warehousing, distribution, and logistics sectors. The conference offers a blend of educational sessions, industry-specific meetings, and networking opportunities aimed at tackling current supply chain challenges. Attendees have the chance to explore key topics such as operational efficiency, emerging technology, and workforce strategies, while also participating in facility tours and hands-on workshops. This year's event was designed to provide actionable insights for leaders across all career stages, helping them implement best practices within their organizations.

Membership meetings: two membership meetings were held, the mhi spring meeting and the mhi annual conference. Both meetings are interactive thought leadership events providing educational sessions, product specific industry group meetings and networking events focus on issues of mutual industry concerns and growth of the material handling industry. Product specific industry group meetings focus on standard development, and development on technical, safety, and educational matters. Note that the annual conference was significantly scaled back as far as programming in 2024 due to hurricane milton hitting florida two days before the conference was scheduled to be held in person. Mhi shifted and held industry group meetings online. The conference is scheduled to return to an in person event in 2025.
