Mission
Matthews Light is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness through monthly street outreach, providing essential supplies and support. We are also in the planning and pre-development phase of building Cana Village, a 110-acre community of 500 tiny homes with on-site wraparound services to help residents achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Matthews Light received donations of in-Kind Services totaling $9,250 for the Cana Village Land Plan and Renderings and the development of marketing/videos instrumental to sharing the vision essential in obtaining the needed support (contributions, grants, etc.) to purchase the land and begin development. Leaders have also participated in training offered by Community First Village to learn how to replicate the village. (Note: Although the in kind services are revenue and expenses, because they are non-cash, these revenue/expenses are not reflected in the 990 .
