Maui Hui Malama's Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is a 12-week program for students on Maui that provides a live online entrepreneurship course, hands-on training in their community and a stipend upon completion of the program. The program was designed to meet the needs of disadvantaged youth struggling to graduate from secondary school on Maui, but is open to students in middle and high school. The purpose of this program is to increase the economic and social welfare of low income families on Maui by giving youth an introduction to the workforce and small business management before they graduate from high school. Students receive private tutoring services, case management, and basic needs provisions while enrolled in this program to provide holistic academic support to our clients.
