Pop-Up Events: To keep members engaged and active with MBC Travelers smaller activities or "Pop-up Events" are scheduled throughout the year. In 2024 there were 11 events 10 of them pop-up activities. The pop-up events were a Breast Cancer symposium a Disney visit a trip to St Maartens a trip to NY for a funeral and wedding of members a concert in St. Petersburg a trip around Tampa Bay FL a dinner and visit i NY a trip to safely view the total eclipse a trip to Key West for St. Patricks Day and a trip to Atlanta and Keel Farms.
Thrivers Closet: This service benefitted patients throughout 2024 on 11 distribution occasions. Donations were made by United Breast Cancer Foundation and consisted of gathering and distributing from manufacturers and vendors surplus goods including clothing shoes accessories health beauty supplies coats home supplies and related costs of storage rental shipping supplies tape bins boxes rails. Around 50 patient members benefitted. The revenues are provided as fair values and there are no expenses to MBC.
