Agriculture leadership activities the mcminn county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.
Youth leadership development mcminn county farm bureau supports youth ag organziations both financially and with volunteer hours. The mcminn county farm bureau is a primary sponsor of the 4-h and ffa member appreciation day by providing a donation and volunteer hours. The mcminn county farm bureau also sponsors a farm day at a local farm where 4th grade students come and see what goes on everyday on a farm and how important agriculture is to everyday life.
