Mission

Media Working Group, Inc (MWG) provides capacity and infra-structure for artists, educators, writers and researchers to conduct their work in a non-commercial environment. It supports projects that intervene in mass media culture and help media artists realize the potential for participating in emerging local and global cultures. MWG works to inform us and make us aware of the importance of independent media and diverse media art forms which further self-representation, diversity and community development. MWG promotes media literacy education as a means of creating an informed citizenry and to strengthen our democratic society.
