Mediation Services Of Eastern Iowa

The organization oversees two court-connected mediation programs: the sixth judicial district family medication program and the johnson county small claims mediation program. It provides continuing education to current mediators and attorneys; trains and mentors new volunteer mediators for small claims cases in johnson, linn and iowa counties. It also educates citizens about mediation through its website, through correpondence and telephone calls and through court-ordered mediation education classes.
