To enhance efforts in carrying on the educational mission of the u of md medical school.

Joint sponsorship of "the bulletin" magazine:four issues of "the bulletin" were published and mailed to more than 9,000 alumni, faculty, friends, and students of the medical school and emailed to thousands more. An editorial board, consisting of more than 20 alumni and medical school representatives, provided guidance and editorial assistance in the magazine's production. The bulletin is recognized as the oldest medical alumni publication in the united states.

Expenses: $240K

Alumni and student related activities:more than 600 alumni and guests returned to campus for a two-day reunion in may, and several student and alumni activities were staged during the year, including freshmen orientation, white coat ceremony, sophomore clinician ceremony, senior match day, and junior bull roast celebrations for students, as well as receptions medical meetings for alumni. The maa provided incoming students with stethoscopes.

Expenses: $188K

To support the restoration, maintenance, and administration of davidge hall, the oldest medical teaching facility in america. This year we restored and interior of chemical hall on the building's first floor which included all new multi-media equipment.

Expenses: $244K

Membership drive: the association requests $85 in membership fees from each graduate that supports maintenance of the alumni data base and administers programs and services to benefit all graduates and promote the association to students.
