Medical education resources initiative for teens (merit) aims to eliminate health care disparities by transforming under-represented high school students into health care leaders. To accomplish these goals, merit provides support and opportunities to students through middle school, high school, college, and beyond. This support includes rigorous academic classes, intensive mentorship, college counseling, health career internships, and more.
