Medical Society Of The District Of Columbia

Health policy and advocacy - includes the cost of working with the d.c. Concil members to pass legislation designed to implement the society's policies and legislative priorities. The society also works on other issues in the regulatory arena, including advocacy before the executive branch agencies.

Community outreach - identify, develop, and institutionalize opportunities for physician input into matters relating to public or community health in the district of columbia, including physician education and policy development.
