Community service/outreach: memorial foundation, inc. Provided support for community outreach programs at local schools and non-profits in the pmmci communities. Funds were awarded to a local school district to support a construction project for a learning caf that will enable all students, regardless of ability, with life skills to find employment. The largest school district in the service area was awarded funds to provide low income families with free school physicals and vaccinations. A youth-focused non-profit was awarded funding to provide physical and mental wellness activities for students, regardless of ability to pay. A non-profit supporting victims of sexual assault was awarded funding to ensue victims do not experience disrupted services in their physical and mental wellness programs. Memorial foundation, inc. Also supported "art on the square", the largest public event held in st. Clair county where the foundation promoted diabetes prevention and healthy living choices by hosting hospital diabetes educators.
Patient support: memorial foundation, inc. Provided car seats and safe sleep swaddles for families in the family birthing center. Patient support was also provided for compression garments for lymphedema patients and glucose monitors and strips for the diabetes education program.
External community, general operations: memorial foundation, inc. Provided support to hospital employees who were in need of financial assistance and assistance for mental and physical wellness program for employees.
