Mission

To promote participation in the conservation and improvement of the memphremagog watershed, to monitor and protect quality and wildlife habitat, and to preserve the scenic, historic and ecological integrity of the watershed.

Vermont fish & wildlife/great lakes fisheries commission - riparian lands grant/clyde river watershed: map, assess and prioritize riparian lands for land owner lead conservation and restoration of buffer zone. Direct landowner benefit approximately 725, indirect benefit of all lake users estimated at 170,000

Watershed united vermont (1) annual operational support grant: assist vermont department of environmental conservation staff with the updating and implementing the memphremagog tactical basin plan; (2) miscellaneous municipal stormwater improvement grants: implementing stormwater projects in communities. Benefit all watershed residents and users - 300,000.

Scholarship program: scholarships for high school seniors continuing onto college with a science or environmental science major. Three grants awarded for the year = 1,500
