Mission
To provide public education regarding, and awareness of, mental illness and to improve the quality of life for persons with mental illness and their family members.
Programs

Rental and aftercare program: the organization rents living space to consumers with mental health issues. The consumers must either be mentally or physically disabled. The consumers are referred to the organization through social workers and the mercer county housing authority. The organization services approximately 112 consumers.
Human services development program: the organization exercises every opportunity to educate the public (5,000 served) about mental illness to help reduce stigma. The organization advocates for the needs and rights of the mentally ill for 92 consumers. This includes giving advice and referrals to consumers and family members; talking with landlords, utility companies, grocery stores, clothing and furniture stores; and working with case managers and supported housing workers all to assure that the needs of the consumers are met.
Transportation program: the organization offers free transportation for consumers who are not able to use the public transit system.
