"Legacy Discovery" - our organization's primary "experiential" training/event is held in all of our Regions. The purpose of Legacy Discovery is a powerful journey that celebrates the strength, wisdom, insight and purpose a man carries through the world. The training, over a weekend, is an exploration of the collective wisdom of men, and a voyage that leads men to their "Purpose" plus the power to create the "Legacy" that they want to leave to the World. The redevelopment of the Legacy Discovery Program continued to ensure the material content is standardized with qualified training teams to deliver the Legacy Discovery Program powerfully with high production standards.
Team Member: Basic Leadership; Essential Skills; Enrollment and various other Trainings that Mentor Discover Inspire offers our membership and the community, are organized into modules which build upon each other, as well as the foundations of Mentor Discover Inspire's mission to provide a rich interactive experience on many topics including: participation and ownership in one's life; preparation to succeed; planning and leadership; and trust and reliance upon others. Member Training Programs take place both on-line and in person.
Besides the scheduled, reservation-based, tuition-connected trainings and workshops, referenced in 4a, 4b, and 4c, Mentor Discover Inspire has regular monthly and quarterly in-person and/or on-line meetings involving it's membership and/or leadership in their Chapters/Divisions and Regions. These meetings reinforce the lessons taught in the trainings and help leadership prepare future meetings and events for the benefit of the membership and the guests from the community. These regular meetings and workshops provide mentoring for members and guests to cause greatness in creating successful families, careers and communities. Expenses to support these meetings include site rentals, on-line technology, promotional literature and communications, storage of items, various materials, occasionally food and, less-often, travel reimbursement. These events may sometimes collect fees to defray the cost of room rental and food as many of our meetings and community service projects and events are after work, or all-day weekends and stretch over mealtimes.
