Mission

The Mentors & Meals program provides an inter-generational mentoring program for middle school students utilizing high school student mentors, college interns and adult volunteers. The program's primary goal is to enhance academic achievement in academically and/or financially at risk middle school students through mentoring. The program provides homework help, after school snacks, group activities (STEM, Reading Therapy Dogs, Guest Speakers) and hot meals to students Monday through Thursday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and one Friday event per month.
