M.O.M.I.E.s Out-of-School-Time (OST) programs serve students who are considered at risk. We meet with students five times per week throughout the school year and summer. Our programs have successfully aided students in improving reading and math skills, enhancing social interaction, and learning at least three vocations.

The BMEF has impacted more than 6,200 global Montessorians since its founding in July 2020 and has awarded scholarships to Black adults for Montessori teacher training, to families for their children to attend Montessori programs, and to school leaders committed to bringing Montessori pedagogy into their communities. The need has never been greater to continue our work toward healing the Black community from educational suffering and exclusion.
