Meowtropolitan Foundation

The Meowtropolitan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. Its main objectives include providing for the health and welfare of abandoned, homeless, neglected, or feral cats and kittens. The foundation offers safe and temporary housing for these animals, as well as health screenings, vaccinations, and necessary medical attention. They also locate, screen, and educate individuals interested in providing permanent homes for the animals and assist them in selecting suitable animals for their homes. The foundation educates the public on the need to reduce overpopulation by altering animals and provides this service, whenever appropriate, to animals under their control. Additionally, the foundation aids and supports other organizations with similar charitable, scientific, or educational purposes. Finally, the board of directors may offer internships or volunteer opportunities to further their impact for change.
