Mission

The merced fire chief's foundation did not raise any money or have any expenses once formed and has decided to change its name and mission to have a greater impact on those in need in our community. We are changing the name to the merced firefighter's scholars foundation with a mission to help underserved youth in our community achieve their educational goals. Too many of our young people lack the resources to overcome the financial challenges life creates, and we aim to assist those young dedicated scholars to show them their community cares about them and their educational success. We have written new bylaws for this specific cause. We are grateful for your assistance. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
