In addition, the foundation provided funds for continuing medical education for physicians, as well as "lunch & learn" programs to benefit the staff.

The foundation also supports breast cancer awareness month as well as various other patient focused enhancements such as spiritual care needs, resident activities in our long-term care facilities, etc. The foundation participates in and sponsors a variety of community events each year to promote awareness of mercy hospital of buffalo and their affiliated ministries.
