Programs

2 programs

Adult Education: Our longstanding Adult Education program works alongside our newer Path to Prosperity program in improving individuals' skills for economic success. Through the program, individuals receive one-on-one or small group tutoring to improve basic math, reading/literacy and computer skills. Support and guidance in preparing and attaining one's GED is also available.

Expenses: $356K

Adult Day: Our Mercy Senior Care program follows a social-medical care model, providing daily activities and positive interaction for individuals 60 years old and older - over 90% of whom are battling Alzheimer's, dementia or some other cognitive impairment. Licensed through the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), our program lessens the emotional concern of family members and caregivers because we provide a safe, loving environment that improves the physical and mental well-being of their loved one. Mercy Meals is our weekly food distribution program combting and the most significant way we reach the community at large. With the goal of ending the severely high rates of food insecurity in our city, the program provides a combination of fresh produce, meats, dairy, shelf stable goods and household products to individuals at no cost.
