Training Leaders and Supporting Church Planting The organization advanced leadership development by hosting and teaching a 32-week home group, conducting prayer meetings, and providing virtual instruction and mentoring to workers in Africa and the 10/40 Window. Through partnerships with African leadership schools and ministry networks, MercyGift contributed to training over 9,000 leaders across Africa and 300 leaders in the 10/40 Window. Additional activities included coaching ministries on fundraising, organizational structure, and church-planting strategies.
Pastoring and Supporting Missionaries The organization provided pastoral care, mentoring, counseling, and sustainability coaching to missionaries serving in the United States, Honduras, Azerbaijan, South Africa, Congo, Ukraine, Israel, Mexico, and the 10/40 Window. Support included Zoom meetings, narrative updates, crisis-care assistance, and on-site visits to missionaries in the Middle East. The home-based small group also served as relational support for missionaries preparing for or returning from field assignments.
