Vna has been providing home health services since it was established in 1920. These services have evolved based on community needs. A community voluntary board of directors provides an annual evaluation of services based on community needs. Home health is a core service and has become critically important with helping to keep people in their homes and out of institutions where costs are significantly greater. The home health care staff provided 986 patients with over 15,100 visits by nurses, therapists (pt, st, ot) and nurse aides in 2024.
