Merritt Island Volunteer Fire Department Inc

MIVFD is a volunteer department, stationed at Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR) Station 41. Our station is manned with career personnel 24 hour a day 7 days a week. We provide additional resources and manpower to BCFR as a secondary response unit. For more than 61 years, our Department has carried out its mission of providing hard-working professional volunteers, dedicated to the delivery of quality public safety service.
