The methodist home of the south georgia conference, inc. Is a multi-site, multipurpose organization that provides residential placement for 153 youth in fiscal year 2024. The main campus is located in macon, georgia with youth living in individual homes in a neighborhood environment with a community center gym, pool, chapel, etc. Additionally, group homes are located in columbus, st. Marys, americus and valdosta,georgia. The mission statement of the methodist home includes "in response to christ and the church, we are restoring childhoods, strengthening families and cultivating a people building organization." additional programs include the price educational center (elementary and middle school), eagle's nest children's center (a 68 seat daycare/4k licensed for infant to preschool age children), lighthouse for families (mental health community counseling center serving 542 children, adolescent and adult clients), intensive family visitation center (a center serving 167 clients who are
