WASTE PREVENTION: Conducted a monthly repair cafe on the third Saturday of every month in partnership with our local food bank. This program served more than 200 people at a 80% successful repair rate for more than 300 successful repairs provided by volunteer repairers, and diverted countless items from the landfill. Over 500 customers bought reclaimed materials at our ReMake Center where we take donations of building materials to divert them from the landfill and ask customers can buy them for a discounted price. We also achieved more than 5,500lbs of carbon savings from the top ten tools borrowed from our tool Share Library. In 2024 our residential composting program in partnership with local business B2G Compost collected over 8,400lbs if kitchen scraps across two community drop-off locations.
