The organization is maintained pursuant to various collective bargaining agreements between the metropolitan dc paving, highway and construction materials council, afl-cio and its affiliated unions, and individual employers, for the purpose of providing group life, disability, hospitalization, surgical, medical and vision care benefits for eligible employees and their dependents.
