To coalesce existing operational, technical, and management information regarding predominantly manufactured gas plant (mgp) site assessment and remediation and to share that information with the member firms in an effective manner; to provide a forum for member firms to discuss technical issues and experiences related to investigation, remediation, and management of predominantly former mgp sites; to obtain and make available educational material, pertinent data and information relative to the industry; and to secure to its member firms the benefits of cooperation in the furtherance of their legitimate pursuits.
