To assist its members to continually improve resident care at each member's respective county medical care facility; to help its members develop the most effective and economical operation of county medical care facilities; to foster appropriate relationships with other related organizations, and to promote education and communication among its members.

Mdhhs grant administration: the purpose of this grant is to stabilize and improve conditions in long term care nursing facilities through recruitment, training and retention of healthcare providers. Mcmcfc administered funds via social media campaign funding, training events, and direct payments to mcmcfc member organizations to fund approved activities that further the grant's purpose.
Scholarship program to provide continuing education assistance. Nine recipients received scholarship in 2024.
