- Continued water quality monitoring in Medomak River Estuary and Sheepscot River and Damariscotta Lake watersheds. - Partnered with Bigelow to monitor and test levels of cyanobacteria in Damariscotta Lake. - Completed a full season of public health monitoring on Damariscotta Lake. - Completed work with partners on project to remove the barrier to fish passage at Branch Mills Pond on the Sheepscot River. Began planning fish passage project at Maxy's Mills in Windsor.
Community: - Hosted educational and outdoor recreational programs for the public on our preserves including Hidden Valley Nature Center. - Served 6 local schools for outdoor lessons in environmental education at Hidden Valley Nature Center. - Hired nature based program manager to oversee both school and public nature based education and programs.Healthy Organization: - Instituted a shared leadership model hiring three co-executive directors each with specific focus: operations, conservation, and engagement/strategy.
