Mission
Provide one-on-one literacy tutoring services, early literacy sessions with families, and small group English language training for ages 6 to adults in midcoast Maine.

Midcoast Literacy Family Literacy Programs: improved families' ability to support children's learning and academic experience through reading aloud and other inter-generational activities. 431 children participated through both one-on-one Read Together tutoring (70 learners, both English language learners and struggling readers from English-speaking families), and Read With Me and Summer Books reading programs for children and families. 62 volunteer tutors provided free, confidential, learner-centered tutoring to help children improve their reading. 2,545 free children's books were given to participating students and families.
